Aviva pet beds are structured shapes and hand filled, not sew and blow.
The bed fill is all washable made by from recycled plastics. This fill was developed for downhill skiers that need a lightweight garment which repelled water and kept the same shape. This same fill is also used in high end duvets and bed pillows.
The sewing is all dressmaker quality workmanship.
We use Velcro and YKK zippers for closures.
The inside cushions and surrounding walls are fabric and can be washed.

The company got its start in 1999 when Jennifer Melton and Brennan Johnson adopted their dog Samantha. She was a picky eater, and because they could not find a commercially available treat to satisfy her finicky palate and yield to her allergies, they ended up baking their own. When they whipped up a batch of the same low allergen dog treats that they had been making for a local animal shelter fundraiser, the treats were a huge hit and people started calling wanting more.

Kong

KONGs story began with a German Shepherd named Fritz, his owner, and a Volkswagen van. Fritz, a former police dog, enjoyed chewing rocks. This activity wore down his teeth and frustrated his owner, Joe Markham. One afternoon while working on his Volkswagen van, Joe noticed Fritz dining on rocks once again. Out of desperation, he started disassembling the van he was working on and threw parts near Fritz to see if he could be coaxed away from his destructive dinner. Radiator hoses didn’t work--neither did anything else until he pulled off a rubber suspension part and tossed it to Fritz. Right away, Fritz was ecstatic.
The KONG was born! While Fritz invented the KONG, it was Joe Markham who saw the potential of this odd-looking toy. Markham refined the toy’s design, developed a proprietary, super-strong rubber formula and began production in 1976.

Lazy Dog Cookie Co.

In 2001, Amy Augustine combined her love for dogs with her enterpreneurial spirit to launch The Lazy Dog Cookie Co. Initially, Amy began with a recipe, her home oven and a few ideas. Using her B.A. degree in Biology and her knowledge as a vegetarian, Amy developed the human-grade treats for dog using a unique soft baked recipe. (Wheat, Corn & Soy Free) and strict quality control procedure. Research, including work with Veterinarians, was also an important aspect of product development to integrate ingredients into recipes that were not only tasty for dogs, but also highly beneficial.

Muttluks is a proudly Canadian company founded by compassionate animal lover Marianne Bertrand. Muttluks began in 1994 as a home based business making and selling dog boots.
